he wanted to comment on the silence that gathered in the space between them. but he wondered if they’d mistake his remark as sarcasm when it was the truth. deciding not to invest in his insecurity, he chose instead to stay silent as a way to thank them for allowing him to accompany them in the quiet.
the pair stayed up all night watching the moon. he wasn’t sure why he had come at their request. maybe he was lonely and wanted to dump his loneliness on their quiet soul. he hadn’t paid much attention to the moon until he saw their complexion soften at the late announcement of the sunrise before them.
their eyes had been unwavering. stared relentlessly at the moon as if waiting for some spectacle or change in its surface. he wondered if they were disappointed. that only made him think of why they had invited them to fraternize to only engulf the two of them in silence. but what if this was how they chose to fuck?
