a poetic prose

devoted, devastated, and delirious. i find myself on your tongue. i am in the sleekness of your cheeks. you still taste of me. you have to. how could you not when i can still describe your flavor? i show my new lover my tongue while i wonder how long you can stay away from me. i know they can smell you on the curve of my hips. they have found your kiss in the dimples of my thighs. can see your handprints on the soft swell of my lower belly. i wonder if they can see i am still full of you. i know that i leak from your mouth when you open it. i have to. how could you not when i still worship the beauty of your name? i turn away from them when i can not help but weep for you from all my orifices. this land of mine was holy before i let you roam each crevice and will remain so even after this lover replaces you.

i want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for taking the time to read my work. it really means the world to me. feel free to clap, comment, and/or highlight; your support is genuinely valued on my end. if you are curious on how to and/or willing to further support me. you can buy me a pen. i also value good ol’ fashion word of mouth, so please feel free to share this piece and consider exploring another piece of mine. thank you again for reading this far.
