i should feel it, no?
the weight off my shoulders, i mean.

i mean, i gave the crown back.
unlearned you name.
tore out your page in the phone book.

so, i should feel it, no?
the target off my back, i mean.

i mean, i heard the shackles hit the floor-
along side all the memories of us,
and our lovers too.
