a poetic prose

i imagine myself in white. my dress is unconcerned about being the exact fit, and my feet lost their shoes a long time ago. it is no worry to me because i like the way the soft grass with even softer dirt welcomes me home. it knows i am bound to its existence through my death. this is its way of soothing itself from survivor’s guilt. none of that matters because i am in white. my hair is long and in love with being attached to my head. i am happy. so happy my teeth sing. i can hear the voices of my loves in the distance. i feel whole and beyond worthy of life.

i want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for taking the time to read my work. it really means the world to me. feel free to clap, comment, and/or highlight; your support is genuinely valued on my end. if you are curious on how to and/or willing to further support me. you can buy me a pen. i also value good ol’ fashion word of mouth, so please feel free to share this piece and consider exploring another one of mine. thank you again for reading this far.
